Creative Agency Senior Art Director

About The Position

We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, and highly skilled Art Director to join our Accenture Song Creative team. We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated, and inspirational candidate with solid visual design capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of how brands can express themselves across a brand ecosystem anchored on driving customer experience. At Accenture, you will concept and design solutions as part of an interdisciplinary agency team to include strategy, developers/technologists, user experience designers, content strategists, writers, and studio production specialists. The role involves working under the direction of Creative Directors, owning visual concepts and solutions that solve an array of creative challenges while maintaining or developing optimal design workflow. It requires overseeing and being hands-on in the creation of visual designs and systems, typography, logos, icons, and applying design principles such as color, typography, photographic selection, organizing elements, and usability. You will conceptualize and design to deliver solutions that are brief, on brand, and leverage brand style guides, strategic principles, and templates, as well as authoring new brand styles and guidelines. The position also includes concepting, assigning, and directing designers, production staff, and vendors to fulfill creative vision, preparing flawless deliverables for handoff to developers, producers, and clients, and presenting and defending solutions to various internal teams and clients. Interdisciplinary collaboration with UX, copywriters, designers, project managers, strategists, and development team is essential, including leading brand style workshop sessions and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, task, direct, and contribute to the growth of more junior designers and art directors.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of work experience in an agency environment
  • A portfolio that demonstrates at least 4 years compelling visual solutions, design and interactive experiences, a track record of diverse experiences, an understanding of current visual trends and a current aesthetic sensibility
  • At least 4 years of experience using Photoshop and Illustrator
  • At least 3 years of experience using Sketch, Adobe XD and/or Figma with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in cross-channel content creation (social, email, digital)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; Bachelor’s degree in design, digital media or related field
  • Motion graphics or illustration skills a plus
  • Strong understanding of brand design systems principles
  • Strong PowerPoint and client deck creation
  • Highly skilled and proficient in e-commerce design
  • Excellent presentation skills and acts as client-facing representative for presentations
  • Participates in new business initiatives
  • Experience in packaging design
  • Experience with emerging digital platforms
  • Photo/video shoot direction experience

Responsibilities
