About The Position

The position of Crater is responsible is for creating and building various shipping containers. DUTIES Fabricate wooden crates or boxes using woodworking hand tools and powered tools Read blueprints, shipping notices and other specifications to determine materials needed and types of support and braces to be used Assembles materials using nailing or stapling machine, screws, bolts, glue and hand tools Wraps and pads products Builds crate around large or odd-shaped articles Wraps and tightens metal bands around crate using banding equipment Attach proper identification labels on crates Cover equipment with neoprene or other protective covering to protect it during shipments To become a part of our team we require applicants for our Crater position to have the following qualifications:

Requirements

Knowledge of packing/crating procedure
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Written and verbal communication proficiency
Ability to read a tape measure
High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience
One year of experience in Crating, service or similar industry. Sign industry experience preferred
