About The Position

The Web Content & Program Guide Supervisor ensures the City of Greeley's Culture Parks and Recreation’s public-facing information is accurate, timely, consistent, and easy for residents to navigate. This role leads all website content updates across CPRD’s divisions and manages the full production cycle of the Recreation Program Guide ensuring high-quality, reliable information that reflects CPRD’s operational needs. The Supervisor oversees CPRD’s network of content coordinators, establishes content standards and workflows, and provides a unified voice across dozens of webpages and hundreds of program listings. This position is deeply embedded in CPRD operations and requires close coordination with supervisors, facility staff, programmers, and ticketing staff to support fast-moving, detail-heavy program environments. Strong project management skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage ambiguity across divisions are essential to ensuring residents always have accurate, up-to-date information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration, Digital Content, Recreation Management, Project Management, or related field
  • Four (4) years of experience in website content management, digital content workflows, or project management.
  • Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job,
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and frequent, high-volume changes.
  • Experience producing content within high-volume, fast-paced, or operationally complex environments.
  • Strong writing, editing, and fact-checking skills
  • Experience leading or coordinating a distributed group of contributors
  • Proficiency with content management systems, digital publishing tools, and basic document layout tools.
  • Comfortable working in an operational environment with same-day or same-hour updates
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous or incomplete information
  • Strong collaboration and communication across diverse staff groups
  • Availability during seasonal program launches, guide production periods, and time-sensitive operational needs

Responsibilities

  • Serves as CPRD’s primary owner for all web content across Culture, Recreation, Golf and Island Grove.
  • Publishes urgent and time-sensitive updates related to program changes, registration deadlines, facility notifications, cancellations, and seasonal needs.
  • Maintains accuracy and consistency across hundreds of webpages, program listings, calendars, and facility information.
  • Conducts regular audits to clean up outdated content, improve clarity, and ensure ADA accessibility
  • Coordinates and maintains CPRD’s brand by collaborating with the Communications and Engagement Department to ensure cohesive visual identity, branding alignment and user experience guidelines.
  • Leads the entire production cycle for the Recreation Program Guide, including:
  • Content collection and information verification via Amilia integration
  • Editing, formatting, and pagination
  • Provides cross-division coordination and proofing
  • Coordinates with designers, printers, and/or vendors
  • Digital publication and distribution
  • Creates and maintains clear production timelines that keep all divisions aligned.
  • CondWorks closely with supervisors, facility managers, programmers to gather accurate information and anticipate content needs.ucts post-cycle quality reviews to identify improvements for future guides.
  • Navigates unclear, changing, or conflicting information across divisions and translate it into accurate public-facing content.
  • Problem solves in real time to resolve discrepancies in schedules, program details, or operational updates.
  • Maintains strong, collaborative relationships across divisions to support rapid, accurate updates.
  • Serves as CPRD’s liaison to Communications & Engagement on style, templates, and citywide standards—while CPRD maintains ownership of program-specific content.
