We welcome all candidates who are inspired by our work and mission. Position Highlights The Clatsop County Circuit Court in Astoria, Oregon, is hiring a Court Operations Specialist. In this role, you will manage cases filed with the court from start to finish. This includes reviewing complex filings for accuracy and completeness, determining and taking appropriate actions, entering data into the case management system, preparing orders, letters and other documents, and monitoring case status. You will review cases and reports, ensuring that all deadlines are met. You will also help determine workload priorities, maintain desk manuals, and update resource materials. Customer service is a key part of this position, and the support you provide will be in person, over the phone, through video, and in writing. You will explain OJD policies and court procedures to attorneys, litigants, the public, and other interested parties. You will answer questions and respond to correspondence related to local procedures, the status of cases, and the court calendar. You will also provide general technical troubleshooting for the court’s public computer kiosks, remote court appearances, the court’s public-facing website, and electronic filings. You will spend part of your time performing cashiering duties. This work includes processing payments for filings, fines, bail, and other fees. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
