Hennepin County District Court invites qualified applicants for a Court Operations Manager II position in the Probate/Mental Health Division. The Probate/Mental Health Division is made up of 11 Judicial Officers and Judicial Staff and 20 administrative staff members. Court Administration in the Probate/Mental Health Division manages approximately 5,000 Probate (trusts, estates, and guardianship/conservatorship) cases and approximately 1,500 new Civil Commitment case filings annually for Hennepin County. The Probate/Mental Health Division also manages criminal Rule 20.01 cases and calendars. This is a diverse, professional environment that promotes equity for all court staff and court users. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Probate/Mental Health Division and provide leadership and operational oversight for a team of 2 Court Operations Supervisors, 5 professional staff assigned to the Probate/Mental Health division and approximately 14 staff. The Probate/Mental Health Division is located in the court tower of the Hennepin County Government Center (4th floor, C-400) in downtown Minneapolis at 300 South Sixth Street. The core hours for this position are between the hours of 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, but may vary depending on the assignment and operational needs. This position will primarily work onsite, with some flexibility to work remotely, depending on business needs. A reliable internet connection will be required if working remotely.
