Hennepin County District Court invites qualified applicants for a full-time Court Operations Leadworker I position within the Family Division. This is a diverse, professional environment that promotes equity for all court staff and court customers. This position leads the Protective Orders Team, which consists of ten Court Operations Associates and one Court Operations Specialist. The Court Operations Leadworker I performs highly advanced Protective Order case updating such as Orders for Protection, Harassment Restraining Orders, and Extreme Risk Protection Orders under the general supervision of the Court Operations Supervisor. The Leadworker I serves as a division leader and positive role model by demonstrating exceptional interpersonal communication, technical skills, initiative, and motivation in contributing to the district’s mission, vision, and values. Work requires the use of independent judgment, application of specialized clerical knowledge, and comprehensive understanding of court operations and procedures. This position provides backup, performing some of the same duties as lower-level classifications as needed. Additionally, as a leader within the division, this position may assist with the work and leadership of the other teams within Family Court Administration. This AFSCME-represented position is classified as a Court Operations Leadworker I and is assigned to the Family Division located in downtown Minneapolis at the Family Justice Center on 110 S. 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401. The core hours for this position is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. This is a hybrid position working on-site and remotely according to business needs.
