COURT LIAISON PROBATION AND PAROLE BILLINGS, MT The Montana Department of Corrections (DOC ) is creating a safer Montana through Accountability, Rehabilitation and Empowerment. The Court Liaison position , guided by the Department of Corrections (DOC) mission, performs routine and non-routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to courts in four counties. This position will spend 4 days at Law and Motion per week. The incumbent will complete verification of commitment paperwork, Notification of Placement Warrants, and review weekly jail roster coordinating with supervisors and jail staff. The incumbent will be responsible to answer questions from court personnel, provide paperwork to offenders, document court case related information, and assign Pre-Sentence Investigations for new and incoming cases. Requirements

  • High school diploma and two years of experience performing a variety of office support or clerical work.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
