About The Position

Establish and maintain positive rapport with customers utilizing positive verbal communication and providing prompt and courteous service. Sell equipment, tools, parts, accessories, materials, and supplies to dealers, contractors, service firms and industrial accounts. Recommend and promote related ‘add-on’ items to customers. Advise customers on substitution or modification of related items and products application information. Provide accurate price points from Company computer database. Receive and fill telephone and prokeep orders effectively. Responsible for conducting counter sales transactions, credit and cash transactions, obtain relevant signatures for billing purposes. Collaborate with Branch Manager/other ARS Teams to help generate sales by providing timely feedback and follow up on quotes and new products in tandem with Marketing Remain current and knowledgeable about products and the Company catalog. Advise customers using technical knowledge and manufacturer’s catalogs. Work closely with vendor reps that come into the branch helping to resolve any escalated issues and maintain good relationships while notifying TM if applicable. Assist Branch Manager with training of staff on Counter and Warehouse tasks Assist in managing and maintaining inventory including Annual Physical Inventory Prep, Regular cycle counts, monitoring of PORG Report Assist in monitoring branch team to ensure all ARS processes are followed Maintain, organize, and stock shelves ensuring store is kept clean and in order. Assist in organization of equipment and product displays. Assist customers with loading merchandise and other needs. Effectively work together with fellow CSR’s to ensure continuity of customer service. Prepare items for shipping, communicate accurate delivery information, and complete paperwork for warranties as directed by Warranty Team and following P21 steps to completion Attend branch meetings, extra technical training sessions and Company meetings as requested. Available to work after hours/weekends/holidays to open up branch and transact business to service customers on a rotating basis Available to work during Mandatory Inventory Weekend every November Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma, degree or technical certification preferred
  • A minimum of 5years in the HVAC industry, preferred
  • 3 years customer service experience in fast paced environment
  • Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Must be able to communicate well with others
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate time management
  • Ability to positively motivate peers
  • Ability to wear multiple hats
  • Ability to assist manager with operations functions as needed while maintaining sales performance
  • Strong knowledge of Air Conditioning systems
  • Strong knowledge of Refrigeration systems
  • Ability to create, maintain, and grow customer relationships
  • Demonstrated Excellence in verbal/written communication
  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office
  • Basic typing skills
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Must have driver’s license
  • Basic math skills
