The Role: Counter Lead We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Counter Lead to be the face and driving force of our front-of-house operations. You will be responsible for setting the pace, ensuring flawless customer service, and upholding our commitment to quality.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or customer service leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team during peak hours.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with cash handling and order accuracy.
  • A positive attitude, high energy, and a passion for unique, high-quality food.
  • Reliable attendance and flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the counter staff, including assigning tasks, managing breaks, and ensuring all team members are trained and motivated.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional, high-energy service experience to every guest, handling complex orders and resolving customer concerns with a positive attitude.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
  • Food & Menu Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our seasonal menus, ingredients, and preparation methods to accurately answer guest questions about our scratch kitchen and innovative veggie dishes.
  • Order Management: Efficiently manage the flow of in-person and online orders, coordinating with the kitchen team to minimize wait times in our fast-paced environment.
  • Cleanliness & Safety: Ensure the front counter, dining area, and all service stations are kept clean, organized, and comply with all health and safety standards.
  • Gold Card Ambassador: Be an expert on our brand and Gold Card program, engaging with our most passionate (and tattooed) fans.
