About The Position

Under the direction of the Count Team Supervisor, this position assists with overseeing the daily operations of the Count Team and ensures all accounting duties are performed in accordance with Naskila Casino's System of Internal Controls (SICS) and regulations. The Count Team Member is responsible for ensuring accurate collection and counting of currency from gaming machines, kiosks and/or any other cash storage units, while ensuring precise documentation of all currency taken from the daily drop.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year experience as a Count Team Member.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of computers and the various programs and applications.
Previous cash handling or cashier experience.

Responsibilities

Assists the Count Team Supervisor as needed and with duties as assigned.
In the absence of the Count Team Supervisor, assumes supervision of the Count Team.
Ensure proper implementation of count room procedures for drop and count.
Provide/acquire training of equipment to include the floor layout for the drop.
Ensure proper layout of currency and record currency on proper forms.
Ensure mechanical maintenance of all equipment to avoid delays.
Report the finding of counterfeit currency while processing the count to the Cage Supervisor on duty in which the cage will be responsible for notifying surveillance and security.
Ensure the safety of Count Team Members (i.e. back supports, gloves, etc.) by bringing any issues of safety to the attention of the Cage Manager/Casino Facility Management.
Oversee daily kiosk BV drops and counts.
Oversee weekly full kiosk drops and counts.
Ensures all procedures are completed in accordance with established SICS and consistently applied.
