JCC Rainbow Day Camp is looking for individuals for our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program! This program is designed for high school students entering their sophomore or junior year of high school, who are eager to embark on a fun, rewarding, and skill-building summer experience. The CIT Program focuses on developing essential leadership skills that prepare teens to become successful camp staff members. Participants will engage in both independent and team-based activities, honing critical skills such as trust-building, creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective communication—all within the dynamic environment of a summer camp. In addition to fostering leadership, the program unites teens from different communities across Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties, creating a shared experience of growth, collaboration, and fun. CITs will gain hands-on experience through various training sessions, including CPR certification, community service projects, activity planning and leadership, field trips to other summer camps, and more. All applicants must complete the interview process. Applicants who are available for the full 4-week duration of the program will be given priority. Final Decisions will be made by end of day on Friday May 15. The CIT program is: A chance for personal skill development, as well as leadership development, and growth. A hands-on training program for future counselors. A learning opportunity focused on working with children and developing programing. An opportunity to challenge interpersonal relations through intentional training sessions and coaching. Session Details: There will be 2 sessions (each 4 weeks in length) Session 1: June 22nd – July 17th (No Camp July 3rd) Session 2: July 20th – August 14th
