Cost Engineering Manager
About The Position
Manufacturing Company has a position open for a Costs Engineering Manager. Candidate will manage coordination of engineering projects. Lead and manage the inventory control team. Coordinate tasks of projects. Develop project budgets and cost plans. Analyze and evaluate project costs, performing cost forecasting and analysis to track project performance. Provide cost engineering expertise and guidance. Review and approve cost estimates, change order and invoices. Maintain cost databases. Identify and implement cost saving initiatives. Evaluate supplier quotes. Conduct/review costs analysis. Assist in preparing company budgets. Coordinate with sales team to prepare client estimates and bids. Assess a project’s cost effectiveness and profitability. Develop and maintain records and documentation of production costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
- Five years’ experience in industrial engineering positions
- Continuous improvement training required
