As a lead cost analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex financial and cost data, creating cost models, performing various cost-informed analyses, and communicating the results to program and project leadership. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team and clients to translate program requirements into cost estimates by gathering relevant data, documenting assumptions, and creating parametric estimates and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs). The role involves developing cost risk analyses using Monte Carlo simulation software and joint cost and schedule confidence level (JCL) models, and applying strong analytical skills to provide meaningful insights. You will also utilize mathematical techniques, statistical methods, engineering methods, and scripting languages to develop new approaches for cost estimating.
