About The Position

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Cost Analyst to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including providing technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services. This full-time on-site position is contingent upon contract award. Essential Functions: Develop complex spreadsheets, program budget briefings, Work Authorizations, and approved funding program documentation. Coordinate, update, and plan with the Federal Budget Analysts to distribute guidance, schedules, databases, and logistics for the Federal Program Managers (FPM) and sites for annual (and a hoc) Budget Summits. Prepare monthly uncosted reports and evaluate funding data against program and Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) sites spending plans. Perform analysis and create reports for the FPMs and other Budget Analysts to provide explanation of spending variances, which include costs and encumbrances. Develop, attend, and/or provide training and qualifications management to develop/maintain complex Integrated Master Schedules that extract data from the P6 schedules to enable quantification of cost/schedule risks. Supporting the planning, procurement, conduct and assessment/documentation of conferences, specialized training sessions (for the Prime Contractor and/or members of its Subcontractor Team) and workshops, as requested. Minimum Qualifications: Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor's degree. Minimum five (5) years of government costing experience Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills. This position is contingent upon contract award. The salary range for this position is $100-110K. Requirements
