About The Position

The Corrosion and Integrity Engineer will be responsible for supporting gas pipelines and LNG terminal operations, including pipeline, export/import terminal, and plant facilities. The work location will vary based on operational needs and project activities. This role involves close collaboration with Project teams and Maintenance/Operations to deliver the following objectives: Integrity Program Implementation - Responsible for development, monitoring KPIs, and implementation of mitigation / management programs as required. Operations support – implement processes, and tools/technology for monitoring the equipment integrity to ensure equipment availability. Mechanical Integrity Scopes, Maintenance and Projects - Define the scope of inspections, support the inspection, and develop remediation scope of work from the inspection report. This individual will prepare and review technical and commercial scope of work (SoW) or scope of supply for obtaining bids or to go through a technical bid evaluation.

Requirements

  • Expertise in pipeline design, material selection, NDE, stress analysis, and integrity software.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to dynamic work environments.
  • Must obtain and maintain TWIC card and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Pipeline Integrity Program in compliance with DOT/PHMSA regulations.
  • Lead periodic program reviews, ROW surveys, class location checks, and annual PHMSA reporting.
  • Update program with latest regulations, standards, and integrity assessment methods.
  • Support RCFA, Bad Actor program, RBWS, and closure plans for mechanical integrity scopes.
  • Ensure visibility of reliability and availability risks; track overdue tasks and mitigation actions.
  • Develop and execute pipeline repair plans, equipment strategies, and ILI campaigns.
  • Assess and mitigate corrosion, cracks, and deformations; plan ICDA/ECDA campaigns.
  • Provide mechanical integrity support for plant operations, modifications, and projects.
  • Conduct CP monitoring, leak detection, stress analysis, and fitness-for-service assessments.
  • Manage material selection, corrosion/cracking mitigation, and chemical qualification testing.
  • Maintain integrity manuals, implement inspection data into software, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collect data for reports, KPIs, and health monitoring; evaluate inspection findings and recommend actions.
  • Monitor and maintain Cathodic Protection systems to prevent corrosion.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for pipelines and LNG terminals; lead audits and update IMP/manuals.
  • Support projects with integrity scope, contractor oversight, and MOC documentation.
