Corrections Service Provider - Residential Corrections

About The Position

Responsible for individualized client services provided in a community/residential setting. Duties include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating client behaviors and outcomes while ensuring appropriate levels/type of services are provided.

Ability to relate to and interact with a wide variety of people in an ethical, culturally sensitive and respectful manner
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizing
Ability to utilize technology including electronic service documentation system
Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent work experience as allowed/required by regulatory bodies
May require CDCA or other specialty certification

Responsibilities

Conducts interviews and administers assessments and screening instruments
Maintain caseload and productivity by ensuring regular contact with clients to monitor and assess progress
Write service plans, review progress and determine updates needed in collaboration with client
Utilize core correctional practices while assisting clients in effective community re-integration
Deliver on-going services to clients which may include crisis intervention, advocacy, medication monitoring, transportation assistance, financial budgeting, housing assistance, and referral and linkage to community resources as needed
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and agency policies
Document all clinical activities to meet specific program, funder and regulatory criteria timely and with accuracy
Participate in team meetings and assist in making recommendations for client status changes
Lead educational groups and/or facilitate group curriculum
May require transportation of clients
Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations
Other duties as assigned
