We are currently looking for Direct Care Providers to join our residential programs! Job Preview at a Glance As a Direct Care Provider, you will provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, life skills, pre-vocational training, related documentation, case management, crisis intervention, individual and/or group counseling services to seriously mentally ill consumers in a residential environment. Responsible for contributing to and creating a recovery-based environment. Schedule: Monday and Friday, 8am-4pm
Requirements
- Minimum requirement consists of a 21-year age
- A High School Diploma/GED and six months of full-time Behavioral Health experience/integrated health experience; OR
- A related Associate’s degree and six weeks of full-time Behavioral Health/integrated health experience; OR
- A non-related Associate's degree and one year of full-time behavioral health/integrated health experience; OR
- A related bachelor’s degree; OR
- A non-related bachelor's degree plus six months of relevant experience in behavioral health.
- MVR clearance required.
- Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive upon hire (as required per program requirements).
Responsibilities
- Contributes to quality client care and effective treatment, demonstrating professional conduct in serving consumers.
- Engages in solution focused, strength based behavioral health/clinical services to consumers in accordance with company standards.
- Performs direct service to consumers including individual, group, life skills training, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
- Provides assessments and crisis intervention.
- Will be expected to accompany, supervise and assist consumers when asked to do so.
- Plans and organizes activities.
- Assists consumers with community integration.
- Develops treatment plans for consumers in conjunction with psychiatrist and/or case managers according to SBH clinical standards.
- Documents services provided, according to SBH standards on a daily basis
