The position of intern at Anderson Merchandisers is intended to be a learning experience for the selected intern and a teaching/training opportunity for the department(s) to which the intern is assigned. Support department-specific projects by conducting research, compiling reports, and organizing project materials. Participate in team meetings, take notes, and track follow-up actions. Help prepare presentations, dashboards, and other internal communication materials. Maintain organized records and ensure accurate handling of confidential information. Shadow team members to learn about departmental workflows and organizational processes. Collaborate with colleagues to identify process improvements or opportunities for efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized.
A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in an office environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
The intern should expect some travel at the company's expense.
