The Corporate Safety and Fleet Manager drives Eckart’s safety culture across all facilities. The role strengthens compliance, reduces risk, and supports operational execution by identifying hazards, eliminating unsafe conditions, and ensuring consistent application of safety and fleet standards. The position leads cross-functional efforts that protect people, assets, and customer service while promoting a disciplined, accountable safety environment. This role is responsible for strengthening and sustaining a safe, health-focused culture, leading employee safety and fleet programs, providing coaching and training, developing and updating policies, supporting Safety Champions, serving as the principal contact for safety and fleet initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, NIOSH), conducting audits and inspections, managing vehicle and driver compliance, maintaining records, staying current with regulations, managing insurance reporting, investigating incidents, and preparing reports for leadership. It also involves performing additional duties to support companywide safety goals and operational priorities.
