About The Position

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process for Valley Truck Centers and its affiliates, focusing on identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the company attracts and retains a high-performing workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Experience developing and implementing recruiting strategies.
  • Experience conducting interviews and assessing candidates.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to source qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networking, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
  • Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages with selected candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and metrics.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and trends in talent acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the company's recruitment processes.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
