About The Position

Corporate Operations Specialist Location: Remote, travel up to 100%Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Join a team that’s redefining excellence in senior living. We’re seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Community Support Director (Corporate Operations Specialist) to help us uphold that standard by supporting communities through times of transition, start-ups, or acquisitions. This role is ideal for an operational leader who thrives on variety, can quickly assess community needs, and enjoys helping teams stabilize, grow, and perform at their best.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in healthcare management, business, hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Senior Living operations, with proven leadership across multiple communities.
  • Demonstrated success improving occupancy, managing budgets, and building engaged teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion and compassion for serving older adults and supporting staff through change.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 100% nationally, often on extended assignments (e.g., 10 days onsite, 4 days off).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an on-site leader at communities during Executive Director vacancies, start-ups, or transitions, providing stability, operational oversight, and coaching.
  • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, and Pillar Leaders to drive operational consistency and deliver an outstanding resident and employee experience.
  • Analyze community performance, identify process gaps, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, financial performance, and satisfaction.
  • Lead and support the rollout of the Operations Playbook, ensuring best practices in life enrichment, hospitality, clinical care, and facilities management.
  • Educate and mentor department leaders on financial performance, occupancy growth, sales strategies, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to monitor standards, compliance, and first impressions.
  • Act as a key liaison between community teams and corporate leadership, sharing insights, recommendations, and progress updates.
