The World Market Internship Program is a paid, 8-week experience designed to give students hands-on, real-world exposure to the retail industry. You’ll get to work on real projects, meet awesome people, and explore what a career in retail could look like for you. Interns will work on individual and group projects while gaining exposure to various areas through field trips, executive lunches, workshops, and cross-department shadowing opportunities. Departments participating in this year’s program include: E-Commerce Human Resources/Workers’ Compensation and Safety Inventory Management Merchandising Technology/Cybersecurity

Requirements

  • A collaborative mindset with fresh, creative ideas and a genuine curiosity to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, anticipating needs and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, working effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (and an eagerness to learn new tools).
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
