About The Position

Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for Financial Planning and Analysis Intern. The Intern will work with the Senior Financial analyst to contribute to the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting and consolidation processes. Document and recommend improvements for current processes Assist on developing review tools for SG&A Reporting and other reporting responsibilities. This position is expected to start in-person around May 2026 and continue through the entire summer term (i.e. through August 2025). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.

Requirements

  • Sophomore, Junior and Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or other related discipline and/or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of finance fundamentals and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Interest in (reporting) databases like Oracle Cloud EPM, Tableau etc
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast paced high stress environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exemplary oral/written communication skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with the demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to document and write recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Monthly reporting tasks including creating the monthly performance book, review of SG&A, tracking strategic projects and initiatives
  • Documentation of (new) processes
  • Recommend improvements of processes
  • Assist on developing review tools for SG&A reporting
  • Assist on ad hoc business analysis to turn data into insights across functions
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling to identify trends, recommend improvements and identify growth opportunities
  • Assist on enhancing and/or develop tools to support better decision making across the company, leveraging the Oracle EPM system and the data warehouse
