About The Position
We are a high performing Corporate FP&A team facilitating Lam Research’s forecasting process. Our main responsibilities are to analyze financial performance, guiding strategic business decisions, optimizing capital and driving growth. CFP&A team translates complex financial numbers into actionable insights for executives, helping them to understand the financial impact of choices and navigate future challenges. Offering: Exposure to strategic financial projects in a high-tech industry Mentorship from experienced finance professionals Networking opportunities within a global organization As a Corporate FP&A Summer Intern, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the financial health and decision-making of the organization. Your work will directly contribute to insightful analysis to enable strategic decision-making, short-term & long-term planning. We are seeking candidates for a Finance Intern to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting while providing exposure to real-world business decision-making.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Statistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment cross-functionally
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate and build positive relationships with others
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance OPEX, Headcount and CAPEX reporting
- Create historical trends and forecast accuracy scorecard
- Analyze financial data and identify trends or variances
- Support preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior leadership
