Corporate Director of Human Resources
About The Position
The Corporate Director of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, administration, and continuous improvement of all human resources functions across the organization. This position partners closely with executive leadership to align HR strategies with the hospital’s mission, values, and operational goals, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic HR leader with strong healthcare experience, capable of supporting a diverse workforce in a fast-paced community hospital environment.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of healthcare HR regulations and employment law
- Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
- Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive human resources leadership experience
- Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with executive leadership and managing HR operations at an organizational level
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred due to Miami’s diverse community
- Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or MS in HR) preferred
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent professional HR certification
