About The Position

Corporate Development Lead The Opportunity: Serve as a Lead on the Corporate Development team, supporting the deal lifecycle across strategy, valuation, finan cia l modeling, and negotiation for joint ventures, minority investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Work closely with the company’s technology accelerator and corporate venture teams. Assist with evaluating the broader corporate finan cia l and market strategy of Booz Allen across our sectors. Leverage knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and different business models such as services and sof tware, to inform the development of dynamic finan cia l statement modeling and finan cia l met rics. Assess strategic finan cia l alternatives through merger consequences analyses, including accretion and dilution, leveraged buyout, discounted cash flow, sum-of-parts, public trading comparables, precedent tra nsa ctions, and IRR or ROI returns modeling. Execute M & A and other inorganic investment and tra nsa ction processes in coordination with senior corporate and market leaders. Comprehend the defense or government ecosystem, major commer cia l technology trends and players, and the operational, legal, and finan cia l structures of complex business collaborations. Use dual-use technologies, cross-functional stakeholder e nga gement, and cross-sector negotiation. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizen ship is required .

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as part of corporate development, investment banking, or strategic partnerships or growth investing, with a focus on government contract ing, aerospace and defense, or cybersecurity and technology
  • Experience in defense, cybersecurity, government contract ing, or commer cia l technology market segments
  • Experience with alternative business models such as equity investments, M & A, and joint ventures
  • Experience with complex finan cia l models for various deal structures
  • Experience structuring complex problems, delivering insights and recommendations, and identifying key risks
  • Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional coordination, including working with legal, finance, engineering, and executive teams
  • Ability to work across teams to build operational P & Ls
  • Ability to scope and define strategy for various investment options
  • Ability to prioritize work streams appropriately and move among differing tasks quickly
  • Bachelor's degree
