The Corporate Controller provides operating and financial management expertise to manage corporate reporting and accounting functions by overseeing the completion of monthly financial statements, the annual audit, Medicare cost reports, 990 tax returns, and other various financial reports and filings. This role guides the team and collaborates with key stakeholders to continue the development of short- and long-term strategies; it looks for continuous process improvements to ensure alignment with the organizational strategies. This role implements, documents, and maintains effective processes to improve the financial close and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results. This role also provides direct oversight of areas includes General Accounting, Grant Accounting, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Net Revenue and Reimbursement, and Treasury. Education and Work Experience: · Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business required, CPA and/or MBA preferred. · 10+ years of hospital/healthcare finance and accounting experience · 7-10 years of progressively increasing management experience · Multiple site and multiple entity experience · Previous experience in a fast-paced, continually changing/growing environment. · Track record of developing, implementing, administering, and monitoring accounting policies and procedures.
