We’re seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our Accounting organization through its next stage of growth. Reporting to the VP Finance, this leader will uphold financial integrity, elevate Accounting into a strategic, insight‑driven partner, and build scalable, AI‑enabled processes that support expansion. The ideal candidate blends technical rigor with operational vision, thrives in complexity, and leads with heart while strengthening a financial foundation built for scale, clarity, and confident strategic decision‑making.

Requirements

  • CPA required; Big 4 or national firm experience strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally in high‑growth or SaaS environments.
  • Expertise in the U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, and ERP’s like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, including offshore resources.
  • Proven track record of driving transformation, implementing systems, and leveraging automation/AI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high‑performing Accounting team, including management of offshore resources to ensure global coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Establish scalable processes, controls, and workflows that support growth and evolving business needs.
  • Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Reimagine the accounting function as a value‑added service for the business, leveraging AI, automation, and modern systems to streamline operations.
  • Drive initiatives such as touchless close, automated reconciliations, exception‑based reviews, and predictive analytics.
  • Partner with FP&A and Strategic Finance to deliver real‑time insights, dashboards, and performance analytics that inform executive decision‑making.
  • Lead the evolution of the company’s financial systems architecture, ensuring tools and processes scale with growth.
  • Own complex technical accounting, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), equity accounting, R&D, and other advanced topics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and provide management insights on revenue and sales growth
  • Oversee preparation of GAAP‑compliant financial statements and lead external audits.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead tax planning and strategy, including federal, state, international, and indirect tax considerations.
  • Manage corporate insurance programs, renewals, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee regulatory filings, statutory reporting, and compliance obligations across jurisdictions.
