About The Position

Performance Contracting Group (PCG) is seeking an energetic and dependable Contract Analyst to support the coordination and administration of the contract management process. This role partners closely with the Legal Department and is responsible for coordinating and managing contract activities at the Company’s headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. The Contract Analyst will play a key role in ensuring contracts are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures and be responsible for the following: Review, revise and negotiate construction contracts, including upstream and downstream subcontracts, professional services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, purchase orders and other project-related documentation, in order to identify and minimize company risk or liability. Identify, analyze and summarize contract issues or key points to ensure compliance with company policy, laws and regulations. Generate amendment proposals. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to negotiate contract terms and conditions. Track and report status of contract negotiations. Train internal employees on contract administration policies and procedures. Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience reviewing and revising contracts, preferably in a construction-related environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in contracts management, public administration, business administration or a related field.
