Position Summary We are seeking a Corporate Counsel with experience drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements and other technology-related contracts to support our growing organization. This role will serve as a key legal partner across the business, acting as a liaison on legal matters while coordinating with outside counsel as needed. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience drafting and negotiating SaaS and other technology agreements, thrives in a fast-paced product environment, and balances legal risk with practical business solutions. This role requires strong independent judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will be expected to develop into a generalist assisting with all matters handled by the Legal Department, including intellectual property, corporate governance and international matters. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing.
  • 4-7 years of legal experience, with demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements and other technology contracts.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, data privacy considerations, intellectual property, and risk allocation.
  • Independent Decision-Making: Ability to exercise sound legal judgment and make well-reasoned decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Prioritization & Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

  • Must be willing to complete all license applications, background checks, security checks and/or any other documentation and provide copies of any identification documents required by any State, Federal or Tribal governmental agency in order to maintain compliance with their laws and to successfully perform in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, master services agreements (MSAs), NDAs, and other technology contracts.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, fallback language, and negotiation playbooks to improve speed and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on feature launches, integrations, and new offerings.
  • Advise on intellectual property, data usage, AI/automation features (if applicable), and platform-related risk.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and outside counsel, managing external legal resources efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Product, Finance, HR, IT, and Executive Leadership.
  • Contribute to scalable legal processes that support a high-growth SaaS environment.
