Position Summary As a CVS Health Corporate Intern you will participate in: • Projects that contribute to the success of our business • Community service activities • Professional development workshops • Mentorship and networking opportunities • Interaction with senior leaders The Retail Quality Assurance internship experience is a 10.5-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 27th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the Cumberland, RI office location. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. The hourly rate is $25/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Sponsorship: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs. About this business area: The Quality Assurance (QA) team at CVS Health is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide QA strategies for store brand and select national brand products. Our team leads initiatives in regulatory compliance, including Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines, supplier quality management, and continuous improvement. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Legal, and Operations to ensure product quality and compliance, and will gain exposure to strategic planning, supplier engagement, and process optimization. You will gain valuable work experience and participate in: Supporting QA projects focused on regulatory compliance, including CVS policy enforcement and FDA requirements Assisting with supplier quality management programs and compliance tracking Analyzing quality metrics and preparing reports for leadership Participating in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training and process improvement initiatives Collaborating with product development and merchandising teams on quality standards Contributing to the development of quality scorecards and dashboards Supporting communication and training efforts for QA best practices Participating in team meetings, leadership updates, and strategic planning sessions

Requirements

  • Meet educational requirements (see education section)
  • Willingness to work out of the Cumberland, RI office
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (e.g., basic formulas, data organization) and PowerPoint (e.g., creating and editing professional presentations)

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., active roles in student organizations, sports, or work/school projects)
  • Internship, work, or project experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, project management, or related fields
  • Experience with root cause analysis (e.g. Five Why’s, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.)
  • Project management experience (e.g., leading a school or work-related project from start to finish)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
