IST Management is seeking a Corporate Barista to join the Chicago team in a highly professional corporate environment. The Corporate Barista will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee, espresso, and other beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, have prior barista and customer service experience, and display high hospitality standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED ; Must have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Customer Service and/or Hospitality background preferred
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and specialty coffee beverages
  • Ability to operate coffee equipment (coffee machines, espresso machines, grinders, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet clients/customers, take orders, and answer questions about the menu
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to prepare beverages
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, workstations, and Barista area
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
  • Maintaining area surrounding coffee bar to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
