About The Position

Gammage & Burnham is a Phoenix-based mid-size firm with a highly regarded corporate and business law group. We are seeking a multi-faceted associate attorney to join the Corporate/Business Law practice group. We are experts on a broad range of matters, such as business entity formation, M&A, corporate finance and investments, and commercial contracts. Gammage & Burnham is seeking an associate with 3-5 years' experience with private practice experience. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. Requirements

Top academic credentials.
3-5 years' experience with private practice experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate corporate closings, including due diligence.
Draft formation and organizational documents for business entities.
Review and revise contracts.
Draft and negotiate stock and asset purchase agreements.
Knowledge of the trademark application process, including responding to office actions issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Distill and analyze information and communicate effectively with other attorneys and clients.
Detail-oriented, able to determine material issues, propose solutions, and manage competing deadlines.
Can effectively work as part of a team (both as part of the client's team and with other attorneys) on multiple complicated matters simultaneously.
