About The Position

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Corporate Action Associate in Asset Services. The NA Corporate Actions Department is responsible for analyzing and understanding high levels of functions within the various corporate actions teams. The candidate will be responsible for responding to customer (internal and external) inquiries in a timely manner. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products. The incumbent is responsible for corporate actions custody tasks related to US, Canadian and Latin American securities. The Analyst will be responsible for interpreting corporate action data both mandatory and voluntary. This includes the daily interpretation and notification of corporate action events as well as the reconcilement, monitoring, and understanding of entitlements to the books and records. The incumbent is responsible for performing daily reconciliations for cash, security, and suspense transactions as well as adhering to established policies and procedures.   • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
  • The candidate will require the ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues, be required to meet deadlines as well as be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong skills utilizing DTC (Depository Trust Company ) & Swift messaging for all anticipated voluntary corporate actions is required.
