About The Position

We’re looking for a commercially focused Copywriter to craft clear, persuasive messaging that drives action across digital and offline channels. This role is for a writer who understands that words exist to perform—to generate leads, drive bids, increase conversions, and build trust at scale. You should either: Have agency experience writing conversion-driven copy, or Have in-house brand or growth experience producing copy tied to measurable business outcomes. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, product partners, and sales teams to turn strategy into language that is simple, credible, and effective.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of professional copywriting experience
  • Agency and/or in-house brand or growth team experience required
  • Portfolio demonstrating:
  • Conversion-focused copy (ads, landing pages, emails)
  • Clear headline writing and strong CTAs
  • Ability to simplify complex offerings into plain language
  • Strong understanding of what drives conversion: clarity, relevance, trust, urgency, and friction reduction
  • Ability to write for different stages of the funnel (awareness → consideration → action)
  • Comfortable writing copy intended to be tested, measured, and improved
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices:
  • Keyword intent and placement
  • On-page structure (H1–H3, meta titles/descriptions)
  • Writing for humans first, search engines second
  • Clear, concise writer with strong editorial judgment
  • Comfortable with feedback, iteration, and performance data
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools for ideation and efficiency, while relying on human judgment for tone, persuasion, and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing in B2B, marketplaces, or complex categories
  • Familiarity with A/B testing copy (headlines, CTAs, page structures)
  • Understanding of analytics and performance metrics (CTR, CVR, bounce rate)
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a brand voice and messaging system

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize copy across channels, including:
  • Paid media (search, social, display, native)
  • Email and lifecycle campaigns
  • Landing pages and conversion flows
  • Website and product marketing pages
  • Sales enablement materials and presentations
  • Translate value propositions into clear, customer-first messaging
  • Write headlines, subheads, CTAs, and body copy that drive conversion
  • Produce multiple copy variants for testing and optimization
  • Partner with design to ensure copy and visuals work together as a system
  • Apply SEO best practices to on-page copy (structure, keywords, intent)
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, drafting, and iteration (e.g., variant generation, outline creation, rewrite testing), while maintaining a high bar for clarity, accuracy, and brand voice
