Join us this summer in our Overland Park, KS office as a Copywriter Intern for our Summer Internship Program! As a Copywriter Intern, you will learn from experienced creatives while contributing to real projects across print, social, digital display, and video. This hands-on internship blends creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for travel, offering the unique opportunity to pair a love of language with the excitement of inspiring people to explore the world. Build hands-on writing experience by contributing to both short-form copy such as headlines and social posts and longer-form content including emails and print messaging. Collaborate with your supervisor, immediate team, and the broader creative department to support active client projects and creative initiatives. Participate in a global, agency-wide internship project for an existing travel client and gain experience from early concept development through final presentation. Gain exposure to a variety of travel and destination clients, including Visit Detroit, Pure Michigan, Kennedy Space Center, and Visit Myrtle Beach. Work with commonly used tools such as Microsoft Word and the broader Microsoft 365 suite while developing professional creative workflows.

Requirements

• An interest in writing, storytelling, and creative thinking, especially within marketing, advertising, or brand messaging.
• Curiosity about how words shape campaigns, connect with audiences, and inspire action.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow your writing skills in a collaborative creative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid foundation in grammar and clear communication.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework or experience in copywriting, marketing, communications, creative writing, or a related field is helpful, but not required.
• If you have a portfolio or writing samples, we would love to see them, but they are not required to apply.
