About The Position

Gen Studio is seeking a Copywriter (Advertising & Social) who is passionate about creating high-impact, performance‑driven creative for modern digital channels. This role is responsible for writing a high volume of product and brand advertising copy that drives awareness, consideration and action across paid and organic social, digital media and integrated campaigns. You’ll develop and deliver compelling creative for a variety of brand and product initiatives, translating ideas into scroll‑stopping copy that connects with audiences quickly and clearly. You’ll collaborate closely with creative, marketing, design, strategy and compliance partners—as well as external agencies—to help bring Gen Studio’s ideas, clients and campaigns to life.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of copywriting experience with a strong focus on advertising, paid media and/or social media.
  • You’ve written for consumer brands, agencies or creative studios; fintech or regulated industry experience is a plus.
  • You’re comfortable collaborating with compliance and/or legal teams and working within structured review processes.
  • Proven ability to write clear, persuasive and engaging copy across multiple digital platforms.
  • Strong concepting skills and comfort generating multiple ideas
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of the relationship between copy, design and performance.
  • Curious, experimental mindset and enthusiasm for testing new creative approaches.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and excitement about building strong creative work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Write short‑ and long‑form copy for paid social, organic social, digital advertising and campaign creative.
  • Produce strong, performance‑minded copy across headlines, hooks, captions, primary text, scripts, CTAs and body copy.
  • Develop advertising and social messaging that clearly communicates product value, brand positioning and key benefits.
  • Partner with designers, motion teams and strategists to concept and refine creative ideas that work visually and verbally.
  • Ensure all copy is on‑brand, consistent in tone and quality, platform‑appropriate and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, compliance, product, agencies and cross‑functional partners to produce best‑in‑class creative.
  • Review, proofread and provide feedback on copy from other writers or collaborators.
  • Stay current on platform trends, creative formats and advertising best practices, and apply them to daily work.
  • Contribute to creative testing and iteration by generating multiple concepts, angles and variations.
