About The Position

A Warehouse Coordinator in the Receiving Department will perform administrative tasks to coordinate, and support the functions of the distribution center including but not limited to the movement of merchandise, monitoring merchandise and verifying preparations involved in shipping merchandise.

Requirements

  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Experience: 0-4 years experience in the field or related area
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Experience with WMS a plus. Intermediate MS Office applications including word and excel. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working Conditions: Distribution Center. Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods, Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Other Skills/Abilities: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with WMS a plus.
  • Intermediate MS Office applications including word and excel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates appropriate times for deliveries and releasing of items for shipments
  • Monitors product/merchandise logs
  • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records for receiving teams
  • Coordinate carrier delivery appointments
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy, documents and communicates discrepancies
  • Process receiving documents in WMS/ERP system
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per company and regulatory requirements
  • Answers the telephone and answers questions and gives direction when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
