Coordinator Special Programs Health Services III Supervisor
About The Position
The main purpose of this position is to assist with the Washington County Health Department’s (WCHD) mission of promoting, protecting, and improving the health of the county citizens. This position will provide weekly and ongoing supervision to the Family Support Specialists and Family Resource Specialists within the Healthy Families Washington County (HFWC) program. This position will protect the integrity of the program and demonstrates respect for the parallel process by supporting, guiding, and building on the strengths of staff so that they may best support, guide, and build on the strengths of the families served.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Crisis Intervention.
- Experience working with Behavioral Systems (local and regional).
- Experience working with high-risk and vulnerable populations, including individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
- Budgetary experience.
