About The Position

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will assist with the administration and document control of the Quality Assurance system set forth by the laboratory's policies and procedures in accordance with the accrediting body and regulatory compliance. This role involves maintaining the EHS site and North American Operations Procedures, including processing, routing for routine review, maintaining a current index for each section of the Manual, assigning numbers to new SOPs, publishing and approving SOPs into the appropriate department folders, routing SOPs to other sites, and archiving SOPs. The coordinator will also maintain SOPs and forms, answer customer questions pertaining to administrative matters, direct customer inquiries to appropriate staff, set up and maintain records/data management systems, maintain the company’s Form/Worksheet Control System, document and track Change Control Requests, and assist in managing customer methods, protocols, and reports including Method Transfer, Method Validation and Stability. Adherence to internal standards, policies, and procedures is required, along with performing other administrative tasks. This is a seasonal role.

Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance in administration and document control of the Quality Assurance system
  • Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Management, maintains the EHS site and North American Operations Procedures (processes SOPs, routes SOPs for routine review, maintains a current index for each section of the Manual, assigns numbers to new SOPs, publishes and approves SOPs into the appropriate department folders, routes SOPs to other sites, and archives SOPs).
  • Maintains SOPs and forms
  • Answers customer questions pertaining to administrative matters in efficient manner that cultivates trust and reliability
  • Answers and directs customer inquiries to the appropriate technical staff or management
  • Sets up and maintains records/data management system to capture all records control requirements, including maintenance of files, quality assurance, information conversions, and systems automation
  • Maintains the company’s Form/Worksheet Control System (assigns numbers to new forms/worksheets, assigns revision codes to revised forms/worksheets, and copies and files forms/worksheets into the appropriate department binders)
  • Documents assignment, tracks, and brings to closure Change Control Requests
  • Assists in managing and controlling customer methods
  • Assists in managing customer protocols and reports including Method Transfer, Method Validation and Stability.

  • Performs other administrative tasks and duties as assigned
