Provides coordination of special events and promotions for the Promotions Department. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Coordinates with Promotions Specialist, ensuring promotions are accurate Assists with promotions and special events, which may include distribution and setup of promotional gift giveaways and monetary gift giveaways Ability to communicate Marketing information effectively with all related departments to ensure proper and efficient preparation and execution of promotions and events Directly responsible for scheduling and supervising staff in active, and deadline-oriented programs. Coordinates activities to promote casino to the general public. May include direct mail, telemarketing, advertising, publicity, community relations, and special events Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate special events and promotion records and reports Provides technical and organizational oversight for all promotional activities Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Requires strong leadership and motivational skills. Will interact with various levels of staff, management, government officials, and the public. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; grooming standards, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
