About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation and coordination of all special events and promotional programs to foster and promote Spotlight 29 and Tortoise Rock Casino patronage and coordinate administrative and business details by performing the following duties. In addition, we strive to deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and fellow Team Members. Requirements

  • Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or training
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
  • Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards. This entails consistency performing our service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing communication projects including promotions, special events, public relations and advertising.
  • Responsible for awareness of area promotions and promotional activities.
  • Work with and manage interdepartmental special promotional activities.
  • Assist the overall Marketing Department including Club 29 and Player Development operations, as needed.
  • Coordinate and execute all promotions and special events.
  • Create and update competitive promotions reports, monthly promotion activity reports, and status reports on overall marketing efforts.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of monthly promotions.
  • Create promotional free play codes in the CMS system.
  • Create promotional free play code logs for review by Database Coordinator
  • Assist in the organization of proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials.
  • Review and proofread in English and Spanish a variety of information to ensure accuracy of information, consistency with administrative policy, format, and grammatical correctness.
  • Compile and verify accuracy for promotional record keeping to include promotional logs, W9s, photocopies of winner’s IDs, and other materials related to promotions.
  • Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records.
  • Responsible for functioning of office equipment; serve as liaison with service representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
