About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of the Hatchery Feed Mill, Transportation, or Production Complex. Responsibilities include maintaining official records and performing administrative and supervisory support for the location manager; reviewing and setting production schedules; creating, maintaining, and approving weekly work schedules (including vacations and leaves of absence); managing the SAP Purchase Order System; administering the safety program; and performing all other duties as required by management.

Requirements

  • Experienced position requiring thorough knowledge of the work area
  • Typically requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Standard computer skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and approve weekly work schedules, including vacations and LOAs
  • Manage and process transactions within the SAP Purchase Order System
  • Administer the safety program
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
