About The Position

The Site/Center Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of the assigned facility, including scheduling classes and supporting the needs of students, faculty, staff, and professional partners. Under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Campus Operations this position oversees academic, administrative, budgetary, and technical support functions at the Nellis AFB Learning Center, ensuring the site is maintained in a clean, safe, and supportive learning environment. The Nellis AFB Learning Center operates under a unique contract to deliver courses supporting the Air University associate degree. The Site Coordinator serves as the primary CSN representative for active-duty and reserve military populations within the community and ensures compliance with all applicable College policies, procedures, and training requirements. This position is pivotal to site communication for CSN staff, daily problem-solving of any site-related issues, and long-term site planning that reflects emerging needs for both CSN, and community partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of professional related experience.

  • Support site-based college and workforce programs, including presentations, meetings, and group facilitation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing, with sensitivity to diverse populations.
  • Strong skill utilizing standard office software for reporting, data tracking, and budget support.
  • Experience assisting with budget monitoring and ensuring compliance with college policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of standard office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and specialized platforms like Peoplesoft, NVLearning, and the AIPortal.
