Responsible for the administration, coordination and supervision of Library Access Services functions, including: Circulation; Course Reserves; Collection Management; and print/non-print materials and equipment. Recommend individuals for employment and coordinate staff schedules to ensure efficient operation of Library Access Services. Develop and implement Library Access Services policies as approved by the Library Planning Team. Maintain shelves, patron records, required statistics, planning period inventories, reporting results and recommendations. Troubleshoot and resolve patron concerns and issues related to Library Access Services. Manage Reserves and serve as Faculty liaison for Reserves. Perform cataloging on non-print media and equipment. Collaborate with the administrator of the library management system for update training and for reports of overdue and lost items. Recommend materials for acquisition and monitor the viability of non-print media. Provide information literacy instruction. Assist at the Reference Desk and provide bibliographic instruction. Serve on the Library Planning Team and provide recommendations on budget, collection and services. Assist with LRC assessment activities, statistical information and reports. Cultivate and sustain a collaborative relationship with students, faculty, and staff. Serve as Librarian-in-charge to ensure LRC functionality. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Perform other related duties as assigned.
