Task Responsibilities: Stock-taking yearly in A1 offices report this for TAX purposes according to law. Apply FINOPS Equipment Logistics. Order, negotiate and settle disputes with vendors for the equipment and exchange aligned with Luxembourg IT Asset Management guidance. Plan and execute the flow/move of IT Network within offices and renovation vendor with good knowledge on switches, panels, and cabling flow/route. Perform installation of new hardware at A1 stations aligned with Cyber Security and Network requirements of Policy of IT Acceptable use standard 3.3.2. Act as Area 1 IT coordinator serving 160+ users. Contact point upon office experiencing the technical collapse Configure, add, modify and remove software locally or remotely in all A1 Onsite visit for supporting IT set up for all A1 offices Acting as IT project team member for A1 stations (Teams telephony, installation of network equipment etc.) Essential Requirements For The Position: Clearly explain problem resolutions to users and other teams. Provide precise and understandable instructions when assistance is requested. Ability to educate technical and non-technical audiences on various topics Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience in a computer science or Network & Information security related field. Apply network security best practices through audits on routers, switches, firewalls, and change controls. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Handle unresolved L2 or Service Desk calls, including hardware, software, or user-related errors. Configure, install and maintain network and security infrastructure. Ability to educate non-technical audiences on various security measures/topics. Be willing to travel when required within our international organization Knowledge of applying project management skills to handle changes and implementations at stations. Coordinate, administrate and report on IT related processes, in particular, hardware requests, software requests, security exceptions, compliance issues and IT cost provisioning. Patch network cables in technical rooms. Review active cabling and remove unused cables from switches. Possess a solid understanding of computer network cabling principles. Maintain a high level of technical expertise in the assigned domain. Maintain communication between IT support teams and L3. Act as a key functional representative in cross-departmental strategic discussions. Working Conditions: The position holder is based in Houston, Texas. The position demands a regular presence in the office and requires vacation and other absences to be planned so as to avoid conflicting with service needs. This position requires the ability to walk, bend, lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs, and go up/down stairs. Flexibility may be needed with working hours. The position holder shall keep informed their line manager on their whereabouts and the means of telecommunications through which they will be reachable for urgent company needs, while on company mission.
