We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented candidate for the position of Coordinator, Interim Care Program. The ideal candidate must be organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. This is an independent contractor position which will include some fieldwork in NY and NJ. Spence Chapin's Interim Care Program offers temporary care to newborns in the private homes of trained volunteers while a biological parent receives supportive counseling and explores permanency options for her child, including adoption. The coordinator carries a small caseload and is responsible for the case management and activities related to the care of babies in our Interim Care Program. This includes work with volunteer Interim Care families as well as biological parents, adoptive families, doctors, hospital staff, etc. This is an in-person position, 14 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $30-$35 per hour.
