About The Position

This is a 12-month position which will involve day, some evening, and some weekend work. The Coordinator/ Instructor, computer Training and Professional Development is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation for all computer-related and professional development programs within the Continuing Education Division. Duties include, but are not limited to: providing leadership in the identification and implementation of new course offerings; participating in the regular evaluation of all programs to ensure educational quality and a positive student experience; maintaining all equipment to ensure appropriate resources are available to maintain continuity of instruction; recruiting, supervising and evaluating part-time faculty; providing instruction; and performing other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in a computer-related field, required.
• Current Microsoft Office Specialist certification, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment, required.
• Prior experience teaching and/or supervising adult education training programs.
• Must possess a Microsoft Office Specialist certification within 90 days of employment.
• Official transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required.
• Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for application purposes.
• The successful candidate must provide official transcripts at his or her expense within thirty (30) days of being notified of selection.
