About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying data errors in PowerSchool SIS and ensuring errors are corrected, and will train and support campus data staff (CRCs, Data Controllers, Registrars) on executing secure and effective student data procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a directly related field
  • Two plus years in direct related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-satisfaction-focused attitude.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of PowerSchool SIS or other student data systems, Microsoft and Google products.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data to make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrates commitment to data integrity.
  • Resourceful problem solver who takes initiative to improve processes and systems.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks successfully to meet established deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify data errors in PowerSchool SIS and ensure errors are corrected.
  • Monitor campus data staff's activities related to updating and maintaining students' records in PowerSchool SIS and in the students' physical cumulative record.
  • Plan, develop and conduct training for campus data staff to include districtwide trainings, weekly meetings with assigned schools, as well as on-demand trainings throughout the year.
  • Plan, develop and assist with the development of training courses and reference materials for campus data staff.
  • Work with detailed data/information; and maintain confidentiality.
  • Organize and communicate information and concepts to a variety of PowerSchool SIS users including principals, counselors, and central staff.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops and seminars (e.g., inter- and intra- district committees, seminars, conferences) for the purpose of conveying and gathering information regarding program initiatives and goals.
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
