About The Position

Eversight's Donor Eligibility Coordinator is responsible for determining donor corneal tissue suitability based on Eversight and EBAA Medical Standards and in full compliance with FDA regulations.

Requirements

Experience in medical field preferred.
Experience with medical chart review and management is required.
Undergraduate studies in science field preferred.
Detail orientated.
Effective communication.

Comprehension of medical terminology.
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe.

Responsibilities

Studies donor medical history to determine if ocular tissue is eligible for surgical transplantation.
Utilizes proficient understanding of medical terminology to review patient medical records, lab results and diagnoses in detail in order to make critical decisions.
Performs accurate and efficient data entry of patient medical and social history.
Provides superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Upholds strict HIPPA compliance.
Maintains professional knowledge and adapts to industry changes through continuing education, workshops, and other professional educational publications.
Demonstrates a commitment to the Mission and Values of Eversight.
